I don’t have that combo, but I’m sure they would look great together. It’s harder to tell whether smaller stones are diamonds or not. I find that when stones are smaller they could use a little extra sparkle anyway. Then again, I have never seen moissanite in person. Perhaps you could try a moissy wedding band on with your e-ring?

I’ve been curious about this too and have seen very little in the way of information or pictures. I do, however, have a moissy center with side stones and I can totally tell the difference, but only because I look at my ring all the time. The moissy sparkles more colors and the diamonds are more white flashes. The side stones are too small to see any differences as far as color goes though.

@amanda1221:

Yay, that’s my post!

I think the difference is much more noticeable when you have the opposite going on, with a large moissanite and small diamonds. But then, it’s not that noticable in person anyway!

In small stones, all you really see is sparkle. And with moissanite, you get plenty of that!

I would say go for the moissy wedding band. I wanted moissy, but ironically my diamond wedding band was about half the price of a similar one in moissy. The stones were smaller and I’m sure there’s less gold, but that’s what I wanted in a band.

Good luck with your decision!
