Recently I have done a lot of research into alternative stones to place in my grandmother’s wedding set that she told me I could have when I was 25. I just received the wedding set a couple of weeks ago!! I have decided on a 1.25 or 7mm round brillant unenhanced moissanite to place in the center. It is a diamond halo with pave sides and a very delicate diamond wedding band, all in white gold. I want opinions on how the moissanite stone looks in the center. I have a diamond .5 carat princess cut diamond in my original wedding set, but it didn’t look right in the middle of the halo, and we decided instead of dropping 12K on a diamond right now we would go with a moissy. Let me know what you think!! Also feel free to share Moissanite wedding sets of any kind with me, I am very interested in this new gem.
