The color on the stones is pretty good, and VS is a good clarity. At that size, you’re unlikely to see inclusions in the SI range.

What color is your ering diamond? F-G is pretty white, especially for smaller stones which usually appear whiter than they actually are. You don’t wanna make your ering look yellow.

@multinational:  the specs are pretty darn good and the price is pretty good too for those specs. especially since it’s not a solitaire or one large stone, the band is only 1.5 mm!!! – that is definitely high enough on the 4 C’s for that band, in my opinion.

now i’m just waiting for joya_aspera to jump in on this thread lol.

@rachelmichelle:  i think she is going for a stacked look, not a wedding band with a traditional e-ring from what I remember reading in another thread. but that is a really good point about matching the wedding band stones to the e-ring ones.

The diamond specs look good, but will you know for sure that is what they really are? Those certifications sound questionable Most people rec GIA or AGS for diamond certs. Also, I guarantee you this band is going to look way smaller than you expect. It is very delicate. Zoomed in pics of jewerly really don’t show the perspective very well. If you are looking for something very petite, it might be right for you, though. The only other concern would be the quality of workmanship on the band and warranties. Rings with multiple small diamonds can lose stones and even bend out of shape if they are not very well made. I would want some assurance that if you loose a stone, they will replace and repair it free of charge..

@lilsweetie:  hahaha!

I personally would want ideal cut melee, but most people would say its fine. Most retailers don’t use ideal cut melee, but it’s a preference of mine after being on pricescope too long!

The range of clarity concerns me. SI melee can look cloudy flat white or even dark gray. I am also not sure what very good cut melee look like… that might throw me off too. I guess I’d want to see some in person to decide about that. The rest sounds good. You can probably ask that they keep clarity in the the VS1-VS2 range.

@lilsweetie:  A white gold half-eternity band with channel-set princess-cut diamonds. 🙂 I can’t wait until I get to wear it permanently. Then hopefully I’ll have better pictures. 😛

@multinational:  My wedding band (white gold – 2mm) from the same shop is being shipped today. I will take a photo for you when it gets to me =)

@multinational:  It’s here! It is so beautiful and sparkly! Looks like rings I saw in the mall jewelry stores for three times the price. The diamonds are very white! I’m including some photos with & without my engagement ring.
