I have purchased several DNL pieces over the years that I truely loved.. it wasn’t until early Jan 2012 that I noticed chips/damage on my rings/pendants after cleaning/examing them under the loupe..
DNL replaced the damaged stones in question.. but shortly after reciveing them back, I notice similar problems w/ a DNL ring I bought for myself in Dec 2011.. Angry did not begin to discribe my feelings.. which prompted me to pay for an independant lab.. which confirmed it was definitely CZ. (the lab purchaed a loose stone directly from them for testing — I did not provide the lab w/ the test subject)
Which explains why I had so many damaged pieces.. DNL refused to refund my money because of the length of time that my collection have been purchased.
My advice, stay clear from DNL. but if you do decide to buy from them, do it w/ your eyes wide open & understand/know that their products/stones are not what they are.
I wished I knew then, what I know now. I am in the process of researching to replace my DNL stones.. The bright side of my sad story ? At least the settings are real.. but are cost of the semi-mounts w/ cubic stones worth the price I paid for the indiv pieces? I think not !
