It’s just over priced cz. I have to admit once upon a time I almost feel for the gimmik…but lab diamond cost as much as earth mined diamonds. Diamond nexus is a really shady company that won’t admit what there product truly is. Please don’t buy from them. Consider moissanite if you can’t afford a diamond.

Noooo!

Moissanite, as a gemstone alternative, would be such a better deal and the stone is really a forever stone as opposed to what Diamond Nexxus offers (CZ).

We almost fell for this too because we didn’t see paying thousands for a rock… DO NOT do it!
I would go with Moissanite instead of Nexxus.

It’s an overpriced CZ. If you want to go the CZ route. Check out Zhedora on etsy. They sell coated CZ with a lifetime warranty for a good price.

We ended up buying a diamond and I honestly regret it. It costs between $5-6K and I do not feel comfortable wearing it. I am always worrying about losing it. I also wanted a 2ct, but I wouldn’t ever ask because it costs WAY Too much money. I’m probably going to return the diamond with fiancee and go with moissanite within the year to get the sparkle and size that is best. I have just finished college and he still has two more years, then I’m planning on attending PA school. There is no sense in buying diamonds right now with a limited income.

The setting itself is what is truly important to me! It has a peekaboo sapphire to match the sapphire ring my dad bought me before he passed away.

They are not lab created diamonds, they are lab created diamond simulants. I recently had a second wedding set made for travel and I didn’t want to use diamonds, basically I wanted something I wouldn’t be heartbroken over if something happened to it. When talking to my local jeweler about options, he explained to me that Diamond Nexus are essentially CZs with a protective coating. There’s also a thread around here somewhere that shows how they don’t wear very well. I ended up going with moissanite and couldn’t be happier.

We went with diamond nexus for a lack of other options. I’m climbing out of debt and they offered a payment plan with little interest and no credit check and were having a sale. We paid it off after just a few months.

I get a lot of compliments on it and I clean it a few times a week.

If we could have afforded it, I would have gone with a different choice of stone.

The engagement ring is diamond nexus, not the wedding band

vikingbride89 :  No I love the ring!!! The ring itself is precious. I just feel so bad for him spending so much money on a DIAMOND instead of a moissanite. We wanted to buy a lab created diamonds but my  mom pursuaded him otherwise… I wish we went with our instincts!

hw84 :  it’s cz go on eBay and get a moissanite. You can get them real cheap there. They have more yellow in them.Moissanite is a better diamond simulant than cz because it doesn’t cloud and is strong

SoonMrsCrocker2 :  “they have more yellow in them”… is that absolutely necessary? Lol.

OP, echoing other posters sentiments and look into moissanite because it’s a durable stone that won’t cloud or scratch easily as a CZ would, and much more affordable than diamonds. If you’re just wanting a clear, sparkly pretty stone, I think it’s perfect. Check out threads on moissanite here, tons of pictures, videos and comments.
