The carat size looking big depends on how long your fingers are. I wear a size 6, but tend to get 6.5 to leave room for swelling. Personally I feel a 2 carat was too big for my short fingers. However, my sister wears the same size ring, but her fingers are longer and a 2 carat looks great on her. It really boils down to your own personal taste. As some would say go big or go home. If you love it that is all that matters, don’t worry about anything else.

I can’t believe i’m the first one to say this but girl, the bigger the better! I have a 1 carat and I LOVE it, but my original dream diamond was at least 2 carats lol

I have an oval solitare thats 1.9 carats on a thin yellow gold band and my finger size is a 4. I always get so many compliments on it.. its honestly my dream ring and it is a nice big rock but at the same time, its not too big where it would look like costume jewlery at all! its just stunning (dont mean to brag but i just love it lol). Go for it!!! sounds beautiful

As many others have said it all depends on your hands and finger length, I have a size 5 finger but wear 5.5 as that’s what is comfortable for me and my stone is a chubby 4.6ct marquise. I assume many people think it’s fake but I absolutely love it and learned a lot about diamonds because of it, my sister in law has a size 4.5 finger and wears a 5ct round. It’s gorgeous on her tiny hand, it just seems to suit her for some reason.
I think that once you start getting into double digits for carat size then you are getting obnoxious lol
