Mine was almost $200. 17 months later it still looks brand new and I use it all the time. You get what you pay for!

If that’s a price you’d be willing to spend on a nice purse, then I would say go for it. I don’t really like a lot of traditional baby bags. I also am big on function. To me, even a $20 bag is a waste if it gets no use. With my son, I opted to buy a very large black Coach bag, shaped similar to that one. It was my diaper bag/purse/carry everything at once bag for quite a while. Even now I use it occasionally to carry my laptop and files at work.

It’s all in how you plan to utilize it long term.

I have one that I registered for that was expensive and then a cheaper one.  But I noticed that on my expensive one it came with a few things like the changing pad, bottle case etc.  So by the time you add those items to the cheaper bag I like I’m close to the same price as the more expensive one.  I see that this one comes with a few things too.  So if you want it get it.  I’m like you I like the look of not being a diaper bag!

@roxy821:  i got a diaper bag for 159.99 this week so I’m going to say 189.00 is not too bad. You can use it even when baby isn’t with you and you can use it for future children. I say go for it if you can afford it!

It’s probably going to get poo or pee on it…. But it’s nice, so it’s your call lady. It’s nice to have something that makes you smile so I’m all for that, however it may get…icky.

My diaper bad has never gotten pee or poo on it. Maybe breastmilk from the bottle or now milk from her sippy cup, and far as bodily fluids but you get those plastic bags that smell good, wrap the diaper in those if there isn’t a trash can near by. Unless your kid directly pees on the bag, I have no idea how you would get pee on it.

My bag never got poo or pee in it either. I kept a couple ziplock bags stashed in there for any soiled clothes. I also kept a couple grocery bags rolled up in there so that I could wrap up diapers and put them in the trash (I always wrapped dirty dipes even if placing in public trashcans).

I’d get it. The one I want is just over $200. It’s going to act like your purse for several years, might as well spend some money on one you love.

I’d get it!

I bought a coach diaper bag (smaller for everyday – orig. $550, bought for $99) and a Mia Bossi diaper bag (bigger for longer trips – orig $600, bought for $200).

You’re the one that has to carry it, not the baby, so if you like it, get it!
