When I was shopping for dresses in December a lot of the salons mentioned that many designers raise their prices (or even discontinue their dresses) after January 1st.

Could potentially have been a sales strategy, but I heard it a few times.

Hmmmmm I’d check around before purchasing it from there. I understand that designers raise their prices, but just in case!

Oh my goodness!! I would go to amsale’s website & call some bridal shop’s close to your area & check for that wedding dress’s price. I’m sorry girl!! I wanted an Amsale SO bad so lucky you for getting one!! I hope you get the one you want girl!

You should call salon A to check the price.  When I was pricing a particular dress, one salon was selling the same exact dress for five hundred dollars more.

I was just in STL last weekend at a salon that had the Tyler dress and their price was just under 3,400. I dont think she raised her prices, I think its a sales pitch possibly.

Sorry to hear this.  I have an Amsale and I called around to every salon in my area and of course the prices varied.  Your best bet is to see which salon in your region carries it cheaper and ask if any salon’s price match or will beat the price.  That’s what I did!!!  The salon I bought my dress price matched and I purchased during the trunk show to get further discounts and a free veil.

Good Luck!!!

Hi Bean,

I voted for Tyler on your other post & recognized the Salon you were at 😉  (the robe in the background).  I will confirm the salon raised their price b/c I tried on the same exact dress last September, it was quoted for $3750.  Hope that helps!

Good Luck! 🙂

P.S. I love the Amsale on you!!!  But like another bride said, I’m biased…I love Amsale! 😀
