@MrsCreeToBe:  You might be able to find rentals that you like.  How big is your guest list?  Mine is under 20, so buying charger plates or another item for each place setting isn’t too terrible, on the other hand, buying those for 120 would be pretty pricey.

I bought mine from tableclothsfactory.com

Today they are having a 15% off sale and they do free shipping on X amount of $ on orders.

I bought my own overlays in our wedding colors from CVLinens.com.   Most party rental companies have linens and tableware for rent, worth a call to see if they have what you want.  Bonus is no dishes to do, since you send them back dirty.  We use rentals all the time for formal sorority events!

I’m trying to buy mine as well, seeing as it costs about the same as renting. Was thinking about linentablecloth.com?

I bought mine on ebay from seller atouchofelegancelinens. They ended up being $11-$12 each–about the cost to rent, and I’m happy with the quality. There are many you can get on ebay for around that price. Buying seems better than renting to me because you never know what condition the rentals are going to be in. Then you can possibly sell them after the wedding.

I’m thinking about it. I’m not sure yet what other colors my venue has or what their fee for upgraded linens is, but I figure if I buy them I can sell them after. So the net cost may be cheaper than renting.

I bought mine… with a lot of research and searching, i was able to buy them for the same cost as what renting them would have been. I used Amazing and Smarty Had A Party. If you are using darker colors, it’s easier because you don’t have to stress as much about quality and matching because they are more likely to match and stitching is less obvious.
