My venue has 54″ rounds and I was told that 8 people could fit. I just learned that it is usualy 6-8 people. So I am freaking out because I already ordered centerpieces and tablecloths. Yes I can order more but I only have a small portion of my budget remaining so I want to tackle this issue right way.
Do any of you have pictures of wood/resin white folding chairs at a 54″ round or knowledge of how snug or comfortable the seating arrangement was?
Please let me know if 8 is at all possible or if I should just suck it up and go with 6/7 chairs per table.

I would think 8 would fit.
A 48″ fits 6 and a 60″ fits 8 to 10. I feel like it makes sense that a 54″ would easily fit 8.

A 54 inch diameter table has a circumference of just under 140 inches.
The chairs are about 18 inches in width. That means at the most you can place 7 chairs around the table with only 2 inches between each chair.
I would go for 6 per table. Unfortunately that does mean ordering more linens and centerpieces.
Can you go either to your venue or the table and chair rental place(if applicable) and actually try it out?
