I’m not trying to get pregnant. In fact, this would be terrible timing. I dreamed last week that I got pregnant and had to choose between baby and college.
But I’m very in tune with my body, and last time I was pregnant (ectopic at 19), I knew immediately.
Today is 4 dpo. Yesterday I smelled my vitamins and gagged and nearly vomited. Today there is a strong fluttering feeling in my lower abdomen. My boobs are sore to the touch, but not otherwise.
Has anyone else experienced super early pregnancy symptoms? I know it’s before implantation, but I feel off. Maybe I’m just paranoid.

If it’s before implantation, you can’t possibly be feeling pregnancy symptoms. It’s likely just in your head. You’re not pregnant.

I just brushed my teeth and my gums bled. They never bleed.
Last pregnancy I had symptoms right away. I had a gut feeling, a few days later I was so bloated that I looked pregnant, and before my period was due I had full on morning sickness.
Havent had those symptoms any other time, so I know it wasn’t in my head.

You can’t have implanted at 4DPO. If anything it is just a ball of cells floating around. Your body has no idea if an egg was fertilized. They’re not pregnancy symptoms. You’re either imagining it or you are coming down with something else.

What exactly do you think the butterflies are indicating? I’m going to agree with PP and say that at 4DPO none of your “symptoms” indicate pregnancy. It’s possible you ovulated late and that’s what you’re feeling. I could feel my ovulation and it sort of felt like a butterfly or a pulsing.

I have no idea what the butterflies could be. I’m hoping it hasn’t implanted too soon and is ectopic again.
I dont know why my gums are suddenly bleeding either. It was quite a bit of blood too. I know progesterone needs to jump for the implantation to be successful, so I could be experiencing increased hormones.

A lot of people will tell you that it is impossible to have symptoms so early, but if you are in tune with your body, I believe it is very possible. I started having symptoms 3-4 DPO (a pulling/pressure sensation just above my pelvis, nausea) and I know of many others who have similar stories of symptoms before implantation. Just because your body isn’t producing HCG yet doesn’t mean that there aren’t hormonal changes going on.
That being said, the imagination can be a powerful force and can cause legitimate physical manifestations. Or you may have ovulated late.
There won’t be any way to really know one way or another until you can test.

I had symptoms at 3 dpo, so I agree it is possible. Unfortunately, you just have to wait a week to find out. Best of luck!
