Don’t get me wrong, it was a great time. But I am exhausted tonight!
We went to Sears and Macy’s to register today. I tried to get my Fiance to do a man registery at Sear (tools), but he hates (HATES) shopping. This could by why my experience was tiring.
Hope you all enjoyed registering!

I picked other because at Bed Bath & Beyond I wasn’t exhausted, but every other place I went I was worn out by the end of. Maybe it was just the atmosphere and the fact that Fiance wasn’t with me, but other than BB&B my experiences sucked when I had to go into a real place.

The secret is to check out the stores in person and then do it all online.

YES!! We registered At BB&B and Target and it took us almost 3 hours!! I made sure the Fiance had some beers and wings in his belly to make him happy and then I treated him to dinner!

I second Miss Louboutin. That’s what we did, fo sho. I loathe shopping.

First, we went to BB&B. I got 1/2 through the store before I pooped out. Same thing happened at Macy’s. FI was totally has a total trooper…I think he just wanted to get it all over with. I think Toffee has a point about going without Fiance. I think part of the exhausting part was discussing every single thing we scanned. My Fiance is very analytical. Also, on our first trip out I think we had some resistance to just going scan crazy. I have gone back to both stores on my own and filled in some areas. I finally decided that we can register for whatever we want, or think we might want, and we can return later.

I was overwhelmed at how much stuff there is!!! I went back online a few days later and added stuff and removed stuff – I think towards to end we got a little scanner-happy!

It’s great doing it in the store but when I go online to add things I always get overwhelmed because there are so many choices!!

I did one registry in person, and I was so tired after doing that I’ve just been doing the rest online. Plus, I was annoyed because the scanner was big, heavy, and it didn’t work on everything.

The most tiring thing was fending off people who didn’t listen to what we needed and instead tried to push the store’s preferred brand/product (i.e., the most expensive).

Yup! We had to have a beer and snack break halfway through.

I hated registering. We spent forever at Macys and only came up with a teeny list. It felt like there were a million things as we were scanning them. I guess neither of us are really shoppers. 🙂 I keep toying with adding BB&B, but wanted to give us a break first.

We registered at BBB and crate and barrel on two different days (thank goodness!)
We had a very extensive list which helped a lot! If anyone wants a copy of my ultimate bridal list that I created from several online lists, PM me!
Anyways, we were at BBB the first day for 3 hours! It was exhausting and literally crawled over to a local brewery for a beer afterwards, lol
The second registering outing was at Crate and Barrel and was not exhausting. I think this is because we registered for less here.
When I told my close friend about BBB she thought we were nuts, but a month ago she went to register there and told me afterwards that she completely understood how exhausting the experience was now!

I didn’t even go to the stores to register, except Williams-Sonoma, which is small enough. I did it ALL online. So freakin’ easy. Just a little at a time.

We registered in person at BBB and did the rest online. At the time we were living in a town that was an hour away from the closest Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel, so it was the easiest thing to do.
