The only ones we got were ones we asked for.  We registered for our siverware at pottery barn.  We did not realize that our serving spoons were available only in the store AND the website did not say we had anything else on the registry.  So those were numero uno on my Christmas List.  But this is after our wedding, it looks like you’re picking them up ahead of time.  Were you stoked or disappointed?

Sorta.  We got a Wii from my parents, but we’d also registered for a Wii.  Not sure if that really counts…

Our registry didn’t really go over a holiday so it didn’t happen for us.  Hopefully you don’t have to come up with a bunch of new gifts because everyone bought everything!

We don’t have our registry yet, but a month ago, I got the cake stand our wedding cake will be on for my birthday from my mom. It was a great gift!

I would have been bummed if I got something off my registry for Christmas…

I can see how some people would be disappointed… but Mr. S and I were thrilled. 😉 We throw a lot of parties and it’ll be nice to finally be able to do so with a decent set of (matching) plates. 🙂

LOL My fiance and I got the electric toothbrushes that we registered for…the only thing is that I registered for stuff online and didn’t really mention it to him, so I had to tell my mom not to keep her mouth shut…

I know it sound horrible, but we live in a rural area and we have to drive 3 hours to get to a decent shopping area. You cannot imagine how dull it is in the town we live in…I just got bored one day and had to do it. We already decided on where to register, so I’ll tell him in a few weeks 🙂

We got a wine bar that we registered for.   They got it off the registry, and since I stalk it, we knew it was coming.  Yay for Great Aunt Betty!!

Nope, but we have a honeymoon registry so I guess it’s less common in that way. I’ve already had people ask who to make cheques out to though and we haven’t sent out invites yet so I know that money is coming!
