@monica_patricia:  That was the first dress I started obesssing over when I first started the whole planning process….then  the more I started looking and trying on the more I just found myself sick of it….it’s a gorgeous dress thou but I found it didn’t really do as much for me as others I tried!

Yes and no.

I personally didn’t feel bridal enough in Adorae because of its tighter fit. My mother liked it and so I almost chose it because she thought it looked so amazing. In the end I attended three different weddings with the bride wearing Adorae, the fourth after I had purchased my dress, which was enough to convince me I had made the right decision.

It is a gorgeous dress but yes very, very popular.

The deciding factor for me wouldn’t necessarily be its popularity online (though my personal dress is very rare as it’s not from a traditional bridal designer) but how popular is it among the people I know. It would kind of bother me if my friends are like, “OMG, she’s wearing that dress too. So did so and so and so and so.” But in terms of online, it wouldn’t bother me to be compared with other brides I don’t know.

I tried it on and it did look pretty, luckily it wasnt for me, bc after coming on here I realized how common the dress was.  It is very pretty though.

The Adorae was the first mermaid style I tried on (never thought they would look good on me, however I ended up with a Sottero & Midgley mermaid style dress), I am not a fan of satin which was one of my reasons for not choosing it! However, it’s popularity would put me off too as I tend to veer away from popular choice for most things! 🙂

Yeah, I tried it on…everyoen loved it. At the time I didnd’t know how popular it was but I ruled it out because I wasnt a fan of satin ruching….but had I been going off of what other people wanted I might have taken it home…it got major oooohs and aaaahs.

I have to say and am a bit glad I didn’t pick it, knowing what I know now. I dunno..maybe it’s sill to care how many brides are wearing your dress, but It just wouldn’t seem as special to me if my best friends cousin wore the same dress.

It is a stunning dress that really suits a lot of people, different sizes and shapes etc. Someone in the friendship circle wore it just weeks ago however, so I’m glad I didn’t choose it!

Its a beautiful dress and yes its popular but really, how many women do you think your friends and family will have seen wearing it? Unless youre planning a wedding yourself your unikely to have ever laid eyes on the Adorae. If you love the dress, go for it x x
