- Wedding: July 2012
So we had our wedding last weekend and it was an amazing time. It was a small outdoor wedding with about 60 people. We obviously had a set time for ceremony, but as for how long pictures were going to take, when we did our entrance, when we did our first dance, cut the cake, and even when dinner was, was totally freestyle. We had a rough guideline, but it didn’t really go that way. It all went perfect without a hitch and our guests were most certainly happy with the easy-going atmosphere. Everyone was mingling, drinking and using our photobooth.
I totally understand that this might not work for bigger weddings at venues that makes it hard to be unscheduled. It might only work for small weddings with all your loved ones around, but it would be nice to hear about others who have had a more timeline-free wedding that went well… or poorly.
I’m sure you all think I’m crazy, but I just wanted to know if there were any brides that also just went with the flow and didn’t micromanage the timeline of their wedding day? Did you find that it enhanced your experience, or made it more stressful?
