My amazing Fiance bought me a second e-ring because my first one wasn’t meant to be an e-ring. A custom band would have cost us $ 1200 which is more then twice as much as the e-ring. So he bought me a whole new set!!.
Anyone else have two for whatever reason? Can you post pics? My camera is at home and I’m at work, or I would post mine.

I didn’t get two e-rings but I did get two wedding bands.

I’ve got two! FH proposed with my familys heirloom ring, but its super fancy and actually really heavy so its not the most comfortable thing to wear plus I get so nervous wearing it not only b/c its worth so much but its been in my family FOREVER, so me and FH went to our family jeweler and designed a much more modest ring for everyday!

We picked out my ering knowing it wouldn’t fit with anything else and we were fine with it. we figured I’d wear it on my right hand and wear the wedding ring on my left hand… Well, when we went shopping for the wedding band, we really liked the look of having two rings together… So we bought a set. I couldn’t wear it though until the wedding.
I do have to say that my original e-ring, my wedding set, and his wedding ring all came at around 1000$ total; so it wasn’t irrational spending even if we could have afforded more. I just like very delicate and practical jewelry.
First pic is the set; second is the e-ring.

@egb: Lovely and unique !
And us too…all FOUR rings together, 2 bands and my 2 e-rings were still less then 2 grand.

Fiance proposed with a simple solitaire (he didn’t know what I would want) and then we went to pick out a different ering and wedding band later.

Like @Daisylynn, my husband proposed with a solitaire and then we chose the setting and wedding band together.
I also got two wedding bands. One with pave diamonds that matches my engagement ring and a plain white-gold band to wear when gardening, camping, etc.

not two e-rings, but 2 wedding bands…though technically there was another ring purchased before the one I ended up with (he brought it back to trip me up though)

@Daisylynn: I LOVE your ring!

I guess I’m technically on my second e-ring. My first stone didn’t match up to the certification so the store exhanged the stone. The second stone will be put into the original setting and should be ready in August because we sent it to a different lab to get certified.

I have two. One was an heirloom ring from my family. The other one’s center stone came from an heirloom ring from his family. He had the stone reset into another ring for me.
