@wavyhair hahahaha love it!!!!

I found the ring 3-4 weeks ago and it’s killing me!!! I’d never tell him though, he’d be so proud of himself thinking he’s a great secret keeper lol

@dgb2010 My DH thought the same thing! He put it up in the hole that you have to go into to turn the water off. He knows that there is no way in hell I would ever put my hand in there! Smart men 🙂

Hehe yay Canadian people, me too!

The jewelry store sent him the bill in the mail while he was on vacation, so I find a Ben Moss envelope while getting our mail…uh…

So he came home and I had hidden that envelope amongst all the other ones so he wouldn’t think I saw it (??) haha, couldn’t just leave it on top!  So then we went on vacation with another couple and he had THEM keep the ring in THEIR luggage.  Sneaky!  Hehe

I found the receipt on Sunday and now the suspense of when he is going to propose is driving me CRAZY! I can’t even focus at work.

OMG so I can’t believe I am sharing this you all are the first I have ever told.

I went in his book bag (he rides a motorcycle so yes he carries a book bag) but anyway I went in it to get a pen. In wide open inside was a HUGE ring in a ring box I didn’t pull the box out I panicked and closed the bag. But I did look twice LOL. It was a week before our anniversary. Ironically I was confused because he had been showing me pictures of rings on his friends hand because is ARMY buddy was going to propose and needed female advice. He’s overly nice so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was helping someone out. SO I didn’t want to get excited and it wasn’t for me LOL so I brushed it off. Plus I had 3 promise rings before he proposed and they all came from KAY so it through me off to not see the KAY box.

On our anniversary he had nothing in his pockets so I was like shit it wasn’t for me. Turns out he had dropped the ring off with the event coordinator at the restaurant so it was already there. It came out on the desert that said Will You Marry Me? And he got on his knee and asked. This is the kicker!!!!!! I was speechless it wasn’t the same ring I had saw it was smaller thank GOD because the first one I saw was HUGE but was a yellowish tint to it and he knows I care more about the clarity with a big rock than a HUGE rock with bad clarity. Plus he got this one custom made :).

Turns out my dad helped him pick the huge one in Vegas where he lives and my dad still brags about how he should have got the other one because it was bigger not knowing I seen it I try to explain to both of them I like the final one wayyy better. My Fiance also tries to explain that I wouldn’t have liked it.LOL (I am like trust me I believe you LOL)

But I will never ever tell him I saw the first one!!! He spent 5 months shopping and preparing I wouldn’t want him to think it was wasted effort. But I am so glad it was a different one made me feel less bad about finding it.

I found the bag it came in.  He’d stashed it under the passenger seat in his truck.

Apparently I found the ring box for the ring a previous boyfriend had bought for me…I didn’t open the box, though, since I thought it was a special ring he had inherited from his dad.  I’m so glad I didn’t open it…I’m not sure I would have had the courage to end things and wouldn’t be with my wonderful now-FI!
