if you’ve only gained 4 lbs, i think you should be able to lose that just by walking more and eating a little less (like no dessert, no pop, etc).

i’ve gained like 10-15 lbs since getting engaged, so i really need to get more serious. 🙁

I gained almost 30 pounds after getting engaged and thankfully was able to lose them before the wedding. I honestly didn’t notice it until it was too late so the fact that you’ve already noticed you could start taking steps to stay your same weight.

I gained about 10 lbs.. have since lost 5 and am working on the last 5. I’ve been engaged for a while now (got engaged christmas 2011).. and I always thought I’d be super motivated when I got engaged to continue exercising & look my best.. but for someone reason I can’t find the motivation. My dress fits fine and I think I look good in it.. so maybe that’s why I’m not concered with losing the last 5. I’m sure it’ll happen.. but if it doesn’t, no biggie.

I lost weight, because I’ve been sick. But I definitely gained about 10lbs of “happy weight” the first year we lived together.

I gained six!  Few pounds doesn’t seem like THAT big a deal but I need to lose more than that for my wedding. Since your engagement is four months old maybe the partying will tone down and you will too:) Dont worry

I gained 7 lbs since moving in together and getting engaged. I am now down 2 lbs – the wake up call came just last week. I am hoping to get to my regular (or less!) weight before too long.

@Meant2Bee:  5 lbs isn’t that bad and I’m about your size. I know I was able to drop five pounds when I was younger just by not eating french fries or sugary soda. So maybe take two things you eat/like that are high in calories and slash them, making sure to not replace those calories somewhere else. Kind of like what @sleepyhead22  said, walking a little more can’t hurt!

I had been working out and eating so well prior to the engagement that I was at my lightest weight ever. As soon as we got engaged, I was so happy so I wasn’t working out because I just wanted to keep enjoying engaged life and I really was eating anything and everything I wanted…I went up a pant size again. Now slowly trying to bring that back down!!!

@Bwed2012:  Same here! Lost a bunch of weight durring our engagement because I was so busy & stressed (particularly about gaining weight & not fitting in my dress). After we got married I went back to my usual weight.

@Meant2Bee:  i think if you just focus on working out the 2 months before your e-pics, you’ll be in awesome shape! 4lbs should be easy enough to lose in a month, so 2 months is really overkill. 😉
