I think I will also be doing a DW, although not in Bermuda. I’m sure some ladies on here have more info then I do, but I’ve been researching. Feel free to pm me.

Have you decided on a resort? A lot of resorts have both the beach and gazebo option – but I would check with my resort to make sure. This is something I also looked into as I was not into the beach thing either.

for me, the most important thing was to be an all inclusive resort. That way everything else would be included in their trip – because it’s also sort of a vacation for them too. Also, taking a poll from my friends, a couple of friends said they wouldn’t consider coming unless it was all inclusive.

I went to Bermuda for my 9th visit this past May. At the time I believe there was only 1 all-inclusive resort – Grotto Bay, so you would have to pay for your guest’s meals if you go elsewhere.  It doesn’t include all activities, like some of the large A-I resorts, on other islands, but did include 3-meals a day, beverages, etc. When we went to Grotto Bay, we bought our travel through an online company (air), and booked the hotel, but paid for the hotel when we arrived. My daughter always wanted a destination wedding to Bermuda, but it is very expensive to travel there, so knew that most of her guests wouldn’t be able to make the trip.
