Yes I did! I never knew i had a “dream ring” until he proposed! Is more than i could ever ask for! Even after seeing other beautiful rings, every time I look down to my finger my heart skips a beat. I’m so happy!

I love looking at my finger ever day. My hubbie proposed 3 years ago and we got married last year I’m still as I love with it as I was when I got it!

SimpleBrideToBe Thank you 🙂

I may have a similar-ish problem to you about what to do with the rings for the ceremony, it’ll depend on what kind of wedding band I decide to get.

I would suggest that you either wear your e-ring on your right hand during the ceremony and your H2B just put the wedding band on. Then you could adjust it so that you wore both rings after the ceremony. Or, you could make your H2B put both rings on at the same time, so that you’re not wearing either ring during the ceremony.

Because my wedding band will be fitted to my e-ring, I will buy a simple band that I can wear when I can’t or don’t want to wear my set (e.g. beach or gym). So another alternative for me is to wear the full wedding set on my right hand and then use the plain band for the ceremony, but that doesn’t feel as romantic.

Hope you figure it out!

I most certainly got mine. I had never looked at rings, but boy oh boy he did a great job capturing my personality with it!

rcac1208:  love the art deco feel of your setting and the milgrain. I’m a sucker for milgrain!

HoorayLouLou:  gorgeous!!

swonderful:  I always drool over your ring when I see it 🙂

I pretty much did. We got it custom made because I feel in love with an antique ring that sold prior to us talking about marriage. I had saved the pics and though we searched and searched, nothing else made me feel like the other ring did. So, he got it custom replicated… But the jeweler kinda missed the mark on a few details. At first I was really upset. They hadn’t sent the CAD images to us (their mistake) and I didn’t even see the CADs until they were setting the stones! So I had no opportunity to have them correct the details. When I saw the CADs and then the finish pics, I knew it was “off” but since the ring was finished, I had them send it to us to look at before I made them re-do it.

It’s definitely NOT a replica of the other ring, but it’s gorgeous on its own, and as long as I don’t compare them, it’s amazing. So I just deleted the photos of the other ring and love it for being its own. lol

We shopped together for mine which was an amazing moment picking it out together! His ex had a gemstone e-ring (which I really dislike colored stones) so he wanted to be sure we both loved this one! Like I told him… Diamonds are forever for a reason!! 🙂

I didn’t have a ‘dream ring’ until we decided to get engaged. My husband and I picked it out together and its most certainly a dream ring. I’m in love with it and over a year later, I’m still impressed by how beautiful it is!
