My Darling Husband and I are going to have a more relaxed photo shoot with our photographer as some couples shots in our wedding attire. He is going to wear a suit that he bought after our wedding that looks great! Go Men’s Wearhouse 🙂 Anyways, is this an odd thing to do? We did not do a first look, so after the ceremony we did not have a lot of time to take couple shots. If you have any post wedding pictures wedding themed or not, I would love to see them!

@MrsBobcat: we did! We were visiting my dad in Savannah, GA on our 3 month anniversary and it was a complete surprise for Darling Husband. All he knew was he had to pack his tux. It was the last of a series of surprises including a romantic carriage ride and private dinner the night before. Darling Husband was hesitant when I told him a couple of hours before, but it ended up being his favorite part of the trip. Rich Burkhart did the photos, he was awesome! We had so much fun, and Savannah is such a beautiful city.

The day after the wedding, we’re spending it with family and friends at Disneyland. My photography package comes with an engagement shoot, but we chose to use it to take a bunch of candid, photojournalist type pictures at Disneyland when both families can hang out together after the wedding.
I’m hoping they turn out awesome.

@MrsBobcat: We didn’t but I think that’s a great idea!! I kind of regretted not doing a first look after the fact because we didn’t have a lot of time for pictures together. I may have to steel that thought… 😉

We had a session about 9 months after the wedding. We never planned on doing it, but a photographer friend offered to do them for us! It was so fun and I treasure the pictures. We also didn’t have a first look at our wedding so it was nice having some relaxed, fun photos of us in our wedding attire.
Our pictures are the first three… https://pinholepro.com/magazine/2013/11/create-best-client-experience/

No. I wouldn’t mind doing it but we probably won’t.

Yes, we had ours about 6 weeks after the wedding.
We had to change ALL of our wedding plans on the day of because of flooding and had to have our ceremony and reception in a different town than originally planned, so did not end up with the mountain photos we had hoped for.
Our photographer was amazing though and very accommodating when it came to a drive out to the mountains for more photos.
Here are some of the ones we got after the wedding:

@crystalrae: Absolutely gorgeous.
@MrsBobcat: We kind of did. I didn’t go all out and get my hair and makeup done again or anything. We just went out into nature and had some fun without worrying about laying in the grass and getting dirty.
My Mother-In-Law took the pics, so it was free. If it hadn’t been I probably wouldn’t have done it. We ended up with this beautiful photo that will be framed for the house:

@MrsBobcat: I’ve really been toying with this idea. I wasn’t thrilled with our wedding pics so thought it might be nice to just do some more pics around where we live. Maybe for our 1 year anniversary though.

I love all of these pictures! Show me more 🙂 I am looking forward to getting ours done. We were so made up and formal at our wedding so I can’t wait to be more casual with them

We are getting married on Saturday in Charleston and our cruise will not leave until the following Wednesday so I am planning a post wedding photo shoot. We are not only doing a couples shoot but family portraits as well since it has been about 3 years since we had some made and by May he and I plan to have lost plenty of weight and to look a lot different.

- Wedding: July 2014 - Prague
We’re planning on it, since our venue is a bit outside of Prague and I’d love to have some cool city shots!
