I felt like it was totally fake. She described herself as a princess 25 times but wanted a sheath gown? Come on.

Ill be interested to see future venues, knowing how early things need to be booked! My Fiance was funny, he was like what about the photographer and the flowers and the ‘bonningtons’. Haha.

I think it was at least partly setup. i.e. the groom was directed to do certain things which he must have known his fiancee wouldn’t like. They seemed to deliberately going for the “horrified bride” angle

But when she loved it at the end that was awwwww so sweet.

I think the costs were real though. There weren’t a huge number of guests, and I call $25k an expensive wedding.

Certainly for the UK version, I’m pretty sure a lot of the weddings can only be pulled off for £12k because they’re off-season, often mid-week, last-minute bookings and being on the TV is good publicity for the venues etc.  I was trying to explain this to my friend (who has no idea how much wedding things cost) because she assumed £12k was heaps of money to plan an extravagent wedding (not saying it can’t be done, because my budget’s around that, but it’s an awful lot less than the average).

I missed it! I will have to try and catch a recap this weekend.

Unrelated: we went to Falls Creek for our honeymoon last September!
