I don’t really know what “that” feeling is. I loved my dress. I felt good in it. It was my favorite of all the dresses I tried on. And I promptly bought it and stopped looking. If I had kept looking, yes, I probably could have found something else I liked, maybe even more. But that’s because there are so many beautiful dresses out there! I still loved my dress when it came time to actually wear it, and I never regretted my choice for one moment.

No way! I didn’t get “that feeling” and I LOVE my dress. Ok, I kind of got that feeling months later at my first fitting, but that’s it. I shopped around a lot, but always kept going back to that dress. When I was finally ready to order it and the woman told me she wasn’t sure if she could get it in on time and that she’d have to check, I panicked inside my head and THAT is when I knew it was “my dress” but I didn’t have that crying “OH YES” moment while trying it on in the salon or anything.
Just imagine that you’re not able to get the one you’re thinking about and that might help you out, good luck!

@misscherry12: Don’t worry, I went to 5 dress shops. The first three I went to nothing worked and I thought there would be no dress that did that for me. When I picked my dress (at the fifth shop) I was really happy with it because it was what I wanted all along.
So after about 60 dresses, I finally picked one and I still love it.

No, I didn’t experience the tear inducing moment when I picked out my dress. I love my dress and think I look amazing in it (otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten it), but no lightning bolts occurred. However, the day I bought my dress there were crying brides-to-be all over the salon.

I didn’t cry, but I definitely knew it was the one. I’ve always had the feeling when it comes to dresses though. Both my prom dresses were like that, and I did a few pageants in high school- all those dresses gave me a feeling too.
The dress I got was the first one I tried on. I tried a few more just to be sure, but it was definitely it. I bought it back in 2010 and I still love it. No regrets whatsoever.

I cried when my parents told me to buy it. I knew it was the right dress when I didn’t want to take it off.
