Hi!
this is my third IUI cycle, my first with stims. I know nothing about injectables other than what I was told by my RE and what I learned from “Dr. Google”. Below are my stats from CD7 U/S and blood work. Is there anyone with follistim experience that can tell me what they think about my numbers? I was told to continue my meds as prescribed and come back on CD9 for a follow up u/s and blood work. I am nervous that my follicles won’t mature and I am also nervous that I may have too many. My RE will cancel the cycle is there are more than 4 mature follicles. I am also very interested in hearing some follistim success stories.
Follistim: 115 iu daily
follicles as of CD7 US: 10.79, 10.15, 8.25, 16.14, 8.37, 9.39, 10.30, 9.09
e2: 95
Lining: 9mm
Any information about follistim would be soooooo appreciated!!

With that grouping of measurements, it looks like there would be about 7 follicles at time of trigger if they continue to grow at the same pace. Its still early to tell though. You’ll get a better picture in another day or two. Once you get to 13-14, those are likely going ot make it to the right size and grow about 2mm/day.

I am so scared about having too many follicles. I do not want to abandon this cycle because this is the first time I got more than 1 follicle. Thank you so much for the info.

i did 3 iui cycles, 2 with clomid and 1 with injectibles.
my first iui cycle i did i had 4 mature follicles. i had to sign a paper that i was ok with selective reduction if more than 2 fertilized and implanted or they would have cancelled the cycle. i signed it, thinking it was a guarentee to get at least one. none took, it was a BFN.
we went on have 2 IVF cycles where the 2nd one was successful.
it’s been a little while since i’ve been in the IUI stages, but if i recall, they will trigger you when your lead follicle is the correct size. since that one is so far ahead. i don’t think you need to worry about the cycle being cancelled unless the others catch up quick right before trigger.
