Mine was sitting in a chair.. he said it wasnt what he had planned to do but felt rushed because he did an oceans 11 and told everyone different stories so no one knew and people were starting to figure out things..

Yep πŸ˜€ We’re very traditional though in that respect and both wanted that when we talked about our perfect proposal.

Nope, we were both sitting on a park bench, and I’m fine with that.

I actually think he was down on both knees, but it was dark outside and it happened so quickly, I’m not 100% positive!

No. We were walking down a beach watching the sunset. I hugged and and he whispered, ‘Will you marry me?’ in my ear. πŸ™‚ It was perfect. πŸ™‚

My hubby did it all by the book. Bought the ring without my knowing, asked my dad’s permission, and surprised me by getting down on one knee!

Mine didn’t get down on one knee–I should probably ask him if he intended to, though.  I was enjoying standing there hugging him and was trying to kiss him because I didn’t realize he was trying to propose, haha! And he was in a hurry before we got interrupted, so he just dove in and asked me.   It was perfect for us because I was there in his arms the whole time.

Yup he did! We had hiked to the top of a mountain and while I was snapping photos of the view he got down on one knee & waited for me to turn around πŸ™‚

Yeah he got down on one knee.  As he was going down, with a ring box sized Christmas present, I started to shake my head yes and cry LMAO.  Thank goodness he wasn’t tying shoes or something.

He sure did!! In a rain puddle with a herniated disk in his back. It hurt him but he said he was going get down on one knee no matter what. It makes it more special!

Yep…but didn’t say anything.  I had to nudge him to ask the question once we were standing and hugging…so he only gets half-credit.  πŸ˜›

He had every intention to… but we were on the side of a beautiful stream… full of mud, rocks and jagged-slippery stuff (perfect place… right lol)…. Because of this- he didn’t.  He knew with my “grace” and this luck— we’d both be in the middle of the stream!
