Mine got down on one knee to propose and and I loved it! Although I had never really "envisioned" my proposal–him being on one knee to propose was the one thing I always dreamed of.

He didn’t!  Though he did ask my parents permission and did actually remember to ask the question "will you marry me."  We were walking through the park and there were people around and I think he thought it would draw more attention.  I called him out on it though!  My grandma asked if he got down on one knee and I of course told her yes (and my Fiance knows so he can play along : )  Apparently it is very important to her!

Yup he did. After I opened the box with the ring in it (which he let me "discover" while decorating the Christmas tree), he got down on one knee and asked me. It was very sweet and so him. πŸ˜€

He tried, but the floor in my office was so dirty, and I had no idea what he was doing, so I pulled him up by the wrist before he could complete the act!

He proposed while we were both sitting on the couch and I was opening presents on Christmas.  Part of me wishes I had the whole "down on one knee" experience, but that’s not his style at all so it would have been a little weird.  Luckily, seeing the big grin on his face for days afterwards totally made up for lack of tradition

He almost fell over because it was raining outside and pretty slippery, but it was so worth it. It was dark outside too, and the box the ring was in had a light in it, so when he got down on one knee and opened the box, I could hear the Hallelujah chorus for a moment, I swear. It was perfect.

Mine did and the story is quite similar to MsAnnaLytical – raining, slippery, and he almost fell over!  But it was perfect πŸ™‚

My fiance did and it was so adorable.  When he did it, I was facing away from him and wheN I turned around, there he was on his knee.  Very sweet.

I sometimes wish he could have been a little more creative or romantic LOL, but he said he was nervous and didn’t know what else to do. I was in the bathroom putting my make-up on and he walked in when I had half my face on and opened the box and gave me his puppy dog face that I love. I still cryed, but I wish he would have been a little more romantic LOL, but it’s okay I love him romance or not. πŸ™‚

He got down on TWO knees!!  Yup that’s right, beat that ladies! haha … but then again, we left the TV on in the background … soooo, it wasn’t "perfect" but it was perfect for me! πŸ™‚
