Not sure what your “ideal dress” was but this dress looks very stunning on you.

I don’t like the sash though, it looks alittle too much perhaps a smaller detailed sash or even just a ribbon sash would be less of an eye sore.

I love it on you! It fits beautifully and you have an amazing shape. Have you experimented with having the sash at your natural waist? But you look stunning with it as is anyway.

i love your dress. I think the sash is ok but I would probably keep shoping or try lowering it a bit..

Your dress is gorgeous, and you look awesome in it!

Have you thought about having sleeves added? or purchasing a lace bolero? They can be tricky to find but some of them do come with keyhole backs and in all lengths of sleeves… and then you can take it off for the party, so it’s like having two looks!

I think it looks fantastic as is tho… so pretty!

I have a keyhole lace dress! I think that strapless looks great on you! Love the texture of the lace 🙂

had the same thought – a lace bolero might give you the look. But I honestly don’t think you need anything at all – beautiful as it is!

Absolutely beautiful. That lace is so unique and has kind of a painterly quality about it, and there’s something so dramatic and special about a grand train.  Are you having a bustle put in or are you planning on swapping dresses for the reception?

I actually don’t mind that sash, but a purple sash like you described would also be beautiful. I added a sash to my dress with silver and mother of pearl beading on netting, and it changed the whole look of the dress for the better.
