Both are beautiful, but definitely dress #1! I love the details and it looks gorgeous on you. I don’t know much about alterations either (my dress comes in July and it’s when I’ll be going for my first fitting!) but with a reputable seamstress, I’m sure you’ll be able to get just the right fit. 😊 Congrats!

Omg you look STUNNING in both dresses. I honestly cannot choose an option on the poll. I love them both.

I understand your feelings 1000% as I am going through the same thing. I originally wanted a ball gown, but didn’t choose one because everyone kept saying I looked “like a tiny princess” and I was like SERIOUSLY EVERYONE EFF OFF!!! So I chose a trumpet style gown, because I wanted to feel more womanly and mature and sexy. Unfortunately, I am also extremely petite (what’s up 5’2”!!!) and additionally I have no hips and a pancake butt. So basically, I realize that the dress I chose is all wrong for my body type, and it makes me less confident, which is the opposite of what I wanted :(. I regretted it for a long time, but couldn’t return it obviously, and didn’t want to hurt my mom’s feelings as she was excited to purchase it for me.

I dont know how long ago you bought the dress, but is there a chance they could apply your down payment to the dress you truly love? I’ve heard stories of people begging and the stores changing the order, but NO IDEA if that’s true or not. If not, I honestly 100% love you in that first dress. Your body is to die for, and you rock the hell out of that dress! There is definitely a possibility of a tailor making the bum area fit you more like the second dress. Also, if the 1st dress was really big, they might have not clipped it correctly. I only had 1 dress consultant who really clipped a dress well, the rest kind of did it loosely and it was hard to envision. Once you get the dress in and get it altered, I bet you’ll feel way differently about it!

They are both stunning on you! But I do like the first dress most πŸ™‚

I agree that both dresses are lovely, but for me you definitely picked right. I also struggled with dress regret because my dress was too big in store and all I could see in the photos afterwards was the clamps and the too big sections not fitting right, but when it comes in you’ll remember why you chose it. Your first instinct is nearly always right πŸ™‚

tomkitty :  dude, I FEEL YOU. I’m 5’1, very petite no boobs no butt and I love and want a ballgown (because when else to wear one), like those big frothy ones, everyone loves me in ballgowns but their comments were “omg you look so adorable/cute/proper princess” and I just feel like a Disney cupcake in all of them. They truly love me in them and got teary about them but I wanted to look elegant, mature but not old, and like a woman since I’ve been more girly than womanly my entire life.

I’m going for a full A line with princess seams (so there is no seam cutting across my waist between the bodice and skirt). It really flatters me although it’s quite a traditional heavy fabric for summer and I’m kind of unsure about my decision. My other choice would be something light and sparkly but again, my first words in it were “I look so Disney”

tsarina17 :  We’re dress twins!! πŸ™‚ I chose the exact same dress for my upcoming wedding, and I also actually had a bit of dress anxiety and kept wondering if I made the right choice too, because I had a really good runner-up..

The dress you chose looks stunning on you! Once it fits properly and is altered for your body, it’ll be a knockout. I love all the detail in the first dress.. it just doesn’t compare to the second. I’m not being biased, I promise πŸ˜‰ It’s definitely more unique, sexy but still sweet.

I love the detail of dress 1 better then dress 2. I understand how you feel dress 2 may fit you correctly in all the right places but I honestly think dress 1 will do the same once it’s fitted properly. πŸ™‚

You definitely chose the right dress!! They both look beautiful on you, but I was hoping you’d say #1 because it looks like it was made for you!

    I like 1.

I dislike the slit in the front of 2.

I LOVE both of these! They look very similar to ones I tried on. I adore sleeves. I think you chose right, #1 is so flattering! I love the neckline of #2 but #1 is really stunning on you.

Dress 1 looks so much more flattering! I think it’ll look pretty in the back once it’s fitted to you and the clamps are out of the picture πŸ˜‰

I voted Dress 2, but really I scrolled back and forth many many times, and only finally chose that oneb/c I decided I like the design of the lace SLIGHTLY more.

After hearing that Dress 1 has sparkly elements that dont come across in photos, I would def change my vote to Dress 1! I got a sequin-covered dress – I LOVE sparkle. πŸ˜›

You look gorgeous in both of them, and I absolutely think you are just having buyer’s remorse for no good reason other than that this choice is such an important one! It’s natural to second guess yourself, but try not to. I think you can definitely have Dress 1 altered to fit you more like Dress 2.
