I like the Jewel heaps more it looks like a Monique Lhuiller dress. it’s gorg. It is also more fashionable and in vogue than the Melissa which is prob why a lot of people don’t like it as much, they are just a bit outdated

i personally think you are getting more for your money on the Jewel dress and I think it stands out by far compared to the melissa one. I think you made a great decision

I felt the exact same way. I started my search a long time before I was engaged, my fiance and I have been together since high school so I knew it would happen one day. Well I drew pictures of what I wanted and couldn’t find anything I liked online. Finally, after getting engaged I fell in love with the Hermettah dress from winnie Couture. It was the only dress I looked at for months. Finally, went and tried it on and had that feeling when you know. I tried on others but nothing really compared. I tried it on again and I started to cry, my family started to cry I knew this was the dress.

Well, after a couple of hours I started regretting my decision because I wanted a ball gown with a sweetheart top and I had tried one on just like what I wanted and loved it but the price was way over my range. I finally just called the manager who helped me pick my dress and she assured me it would be amazing. I ended up adding extra tulle under the front to give it more of a ball gown look but when you know you know. There are going to be soooo many dresses out there but you have to remember price too! Go with your gut! Plus, a dress never does justice from a picture until you see it on.

I agree with the majority of the Bees- the Jewel one is stunning! It definitely adds that extra something with the two tone, the neckline, the jewels, and I absolutely LOVE the back! The buttons all the way down is so elegant! (mine had buttons all the way down too and it’s gorgeous!) This one is definitely the winner if you ask me! Is this something your Fiance will love too on you?Kiss

You can’t go wrong with either choice, they both look fabulous on you! I prefer the Jewel a tad more, though!

follow your heart dear, to be honest in my opinion though (and i’m just some chick on the internet :P) the MS doesn’t hold a candle to the Jewel. It is breathtaking.

Ok, I looked at the pics before I read your post about which one you chose, and I was thinking to myself, “oh I hope she bought the Jewel!” It’s just beautiful (of course they both are) and I think you made the right choice 🙂

I really think you could rock either dress. I really like how both of them look.

I agree with everyone else and think you made the right choice.  The fit is a little off and the lighting in the picture isn’t that great, so I’m sure when you show it to people it doesn’t look nearly as great as it does in real life.  The jewel is a gorgeous dress!

Jewel – hands down. The other is too boring.

It may just be me but they may be having difficulty with the quality of the pictures.  They didn’t really do the dress and you justice.  Maybe show them the dress on the Priscilla website?  I love the bling!

I like the Jewel one, but they are both really pretty!

I think once it’s altered to fit you it’ll be absolutely stunning.

When trying on My gown selections for the first time in front of my dad. The woman at the salon said that menparents tend to fall in love with the first dress because that is there first vision of you as a bride. That doesn’t mean that it is necesarrily the best one.

Also, the photos of the Jewel are very dark, they don’t do you justice.

The Jewel is def my fave though!

The Jewel dress is beautiful!! Once it’s tailored correctly, it will be 100% perfect I’m sure!
