I wouldn’t feel buyer’s remorse just because other people don’t like the dress, it’s all about how you feel in it.  It sounds like when you put it on you knew it was the one for you, and don’t let anyone make you feel bad about it!

I do think both look very nice on you, and I agree with many other people that maybe what is off-putting is the need for the jewel dress to be tailored.  And the dresses do have two very different feelings about them, so maybe jewel wasn’t what people expected.

Love the Jewel 🙂  The melissa sweet one looks too busy with all the flowers, especially since you’re slim.  I thought I liked lace and beading, but then I ended up with the Jewel JL 202.  Everything else just looked busy on me since I’m petite.  The Jewel looks beautiful and elegant on you.
