Did I go too big? Diamond too big for setting?

Such a beautiful ring! And I think the stone looks perfect both in the setting and on your hand 🙂

While I don’t find a 1.3ct modern round brilliant to be particularly big per say, I certainly don’t think it looks too big in the setting (which is lovely BTW) or on your hand.  I think the whole ring flows nicely and looks great! Nicely done!

I think it looks great, but I chose 3 carats for myself so obviously I like larger diamonds/stones like a lot of bees here do. At the end of the day I think you just have to be personally comfortable with it no matter what everyone else says.

@cmcolorado:  It looks perfect (not too small or too big) and fits the setting beautifully!

When I read the title I thought you were going to ask about a 10+ carat diamond or something, which is way too much IMO. But some people love and have diamonds that large and more power to them for being true to themselves.

@cmcolorado:  I love it! I think it’s the perfect size! Here’s mine for comparison – it’s a 1.5 but faces up like a 1.25 or so because it’s a cushion!
