You could maybe buy a shoe clip in a gold colour to make them match more?

If you do decide to buy another pair, those are very versatile and I’m sure you can wear them with other outfits in the future so they won’t be a waste.

There is a tutorial on the DIY from a girl who had your same problem and she glued lace on her shoes.  It looks really spectacular.  The title is something like “dedazzled my shoes”

@MademoiselleL:  I agree — these are super versatile shoes which you’ll be able to use again (for work, for casual, for dressy events) as is. If it’s in your budget, I would buy a new pair that suits your dress more rather try to wedding these up. 😉
