After going wedding band shopping and finding that nothing would lay flat against my Tiffany-style round solitiare, I decided to have my e-ring re-set into a cathedral setting, so that a diamond band could slide right up next to it. I think the slightly thicker band looks better on my hand — as much as I loved the classic Tiffany style, I thought it was a little too delicate for my slightly chubby finger. But, I do kinda miss it! Maybe it takes some getting used to. What do you think – did I make the right choice??

I think it looks fantastic!

love it! the ease of finding a band will make it totally worthwhile too.

I MUCH prefer the second one 🙂

I prefer the first one, but both are nice.

Love the second one! As you said, it compliments your hand and fingers very well.
I initially purchased my ring with a skinny band because I liked how dainty it was. But it didn’t compliment my fingers either. I had my jeweller cut the shank off and solder a wider band on, just like magic! hehe. I love it so much more, and so will you, with time getting used to it 😉

I don’t think you could go wrong either way. They book look lovely.

I think they both look really great, the picture is kinda fussy, but the thickness of the band in the second looks perfect on your finger. If you have any clearer pics feel free to post ’em! 🙂

Love the after pic! Looks like around a 2mm band, which is what I have– I may be biased, but I think it’s the perfect width.

I love it! It thins your fingers out and makes the diamond really pop. You made a great choice, maybe you just need to get used to it?
