I am extremly picky for wedding dresses and yours is BEAUTIFUL and so FLATTERING! If you ask me, what’s different in the model is her pose (which makes the bottom of the dress puff out) and the camara (which makes the detail stand out more). But you look beautiful in it. I absolutely love it.

What are you talking about! I see little difference between you and the model pic – honest!

you look great -I think you (understandably) are over analysing. You look stunning.

I think it looks beautiful on you! Dresses look different on every body so it will ultimately never look exactly like the model.

Which part of the dress on you don’t you like/you have doubts about?

i actually think it looks better on you than it does on the model! i much prefer seeing it on a real and non-airbrushed bride. 🙂 it looks beautiful.

I see what you mean about the falling straight down, but please try to remember that in the model photos, there were probably 10 people working on this girl, making sure each and every fold, crease, hair and bead was perfect for the photo. They have people there JUST to POSE the dress…it’s understandable in RL that it won’t look exactly the same.

That being said, it looks stunning on you. If you are really worried about the fit, ask your seamstress to take it in a bit on the skirt.

I do kind of see what you’re saying, but I think the difference is minimal and I really honestly prefer it on you.  It looks so beautiful!

I remember seeing that model pic when I was looking at dresses, and it didn’t really make me that interested in it, but seeing it on you, it looks totally gorgeous and I am actually kicking myself for never trying it on, if that makes you feel any better 🙂

I have the exact same issue with my dress. OK, kind of the same. On the model it does NOT fit like a mermaid-y dress, but when I tried it on they did cinch it tight and assured me they could alter it to fit tight (like how you want yours, the fit and flare look). So I am a bit nervous too. But seems like the alteration shouldn’t be that tough. Hope it works out for you, and by the way, it looks gorgeous on you now (although I understand wanting it to be just right!).

I haven’t read any of the previous comments but I think the dress looks way better on you than the model.

The dress looks great on you!  Keep in mind that if it really is extremely fitted through the knees, you may have a more difficult time moving (dancing, sitting, etc).

I think it looks great, and I am picky on this.
