@MCC919:  I wish I could be more help, but I want to say I have the same strips and I HATE them! They all look so close and it’s such a guessing game. Why can’t they make it so that a positive line is a different color or something more distinct?! If I had to guess, I would say maybe 8/29.

I’d say 8/29 looks the darkest to me.

Do you track your basal temp?  That would really help.

@MCC919:  For the past few days, mine have pretty much looked like this one. I’m temping though so I know I haven’t ovulated so I’m pretty sure they’ve been negative.

@MCC919:  It’s not bad once you get into the routine.  On the weekends I temp and then go right back to sleep.

Wow, I think they all look positive and all look the same to me. Can you go buy a different brand today and start testing with both with the same urine just to see?

@MCC919:  🙁 Those all look positive to me. As you know from another thread, I had similar issues with the Target OPKs, but at least I was temping so I knew when I ovulated. I know you said you want to avoid temping, but it’s really, really useful. Since I started doing it, I’ve know when I ovulated, how long my LP was, and when I was going to start my period. Before I was always unsure of where I was in my cycle, and MAN it felt like forever had passed since I last had my period, so I must be pregnant (WRONG!). Temping has saved me a lot of $$$ in pregnancy tests 🙂

For what it’s worth, I’ve seen on other boards you should do the OPKs around the same time every day in order to accurately chart your surge. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but it makes sense, and I see you’ve taken yours at very different times.

@MCC919:  Ugh. Iv never had a positive using these strips. I switched to a better brand this month and finally saw a positive. Fwiw, your O looks like it came 29/8. Sorry this has been such a frustrating experience for you x

@MCC919:  oh i’m sorry, how confusing for you – i had 5 days in a row of +OPKs last cycle and it did my head in. luckily I was temping so I could see that my temp hadn’t gone up yet. My guess is you O’ed sometime around the 30th or 31st, buuuuut, it is possible that you just surged and didn’t O. so you could just keep testing once a day if you want to see what it does.

i’d highly recommend temping, if you are wanting to know more about your cycle – i know it seems like it will be hard and stressful (and in all honesty it is for the first couple of weeks while you wake up checking to see what time it is and if you should temp…) but in the end it’s been so much better for me to know what is going on. It has become a very easy habit and the info is priceless.

    All the best!!
