Nope, you did not pick the wrong dress!  It’s gorgeous!

It’s perfect for a beach wedding! I love the side slit and the back is especially wonderful.  Agree that you really don’t even need a sash, if you do opt for one a thinner & less detailed one might do the trick.

Such a gorgeous dress!  You look stunning!  The dress itself is so beautiful with its details, I would skip the sash altogether.  I feel like the sash is the issue and not the dress.

It’s very pretty!!!! I like it a lot. The sash has got to go though. It’s distracting from the beauty of the dress and clashes a bit. If you really want one I suggest a very thin one with beading/sparkle. I love the dress though. It’s different but so is a beach wedding! Non-traditional! I’m also having a beach wedding next year 🙂 !

Lovely , tho totally agree with not that sash  – and now I see the detailed pictures,  I think no sash  at all, it has delicate waist details  not to be covered up!

I would line  the bodice if it were me, I don’t care for the lingerie look esp given the big split. Maybe the baby pink could be the lining ?

I love it, esp for a beach wedding! It looks like the bodice is actually lined with a nude mesh ? Either way, it’s perfect for the beach. You could always line it for the reception if that feels more appropriate to you. Agree with PP, ditch the sash.

It does look like lingerie but that is the style, it’s a very sexy dress. If you want to tone down the sexiness factor you could just line the bodice. But I think a beach wedding is a good place to pull off the lingerie look, I mean normally people are wearing lingerie on the beach basically! I would be concerned with the slit in the skirt if it’s windy. They could go very wrong!
