Your veil is great, screw what everyone says and go with what makes you happy.

If you want to go longer for more drama, get a new one; if you like this one and only doubting it because someone told you it’s not good, then just keep it and shut them out of your mind.

I think the veil looks great on you. I agree to do what makes you happy. Your dress is gorgeous!

How are you wearing the comb and the veil?  I have a similar comb and also have a veil (my Mom’s) that I want to remove for the reception without ruining my hair.  The veil also has a comb, so not sure how that will work.  Haven’t done my hair trial run yet, but wanted to sort of have a clue before I go in there.

Could you just cut the ribbon edging off?  I think that might help.  Otherwise you could always trim the veil so that it’s shorter/ more vintagey- I’ve seen a ton of short veils lately so they seem to be coming back into style.

I was just going to suggest the same thing – my veil came with an edging, which I didn’t order, and the salon sent it back to be fixed to have a raw edge.  My seamstress told me that if they wouldn’t do it, she could trim the edge off for me!  I bet you could even do it yourself, but I’d personally rather put it in the hands of a seamstress.

I think you look beautiful in the picture.  I would only get a longer one if that is what you prefer and what you think looks good.  But I love it as is – I think it looks great.

I think those “rules” are really silly. The ribbon detail doesn’t make you look short! Wear what you want.  It’s all in what works. And that veil does! 🙂

I think it’s looks great as is, and even if it didn’t, something like the edging on a veil seems like such a minor item that it’s not worth fussing about.
