I went to a sample sale and ended up buying the first dress I tried on! I did try on a handful of others while I was there but none of them “wow”ed me like it did. It was a steal – Maggie Sottero for 800 but now I’m freaking out.
Should I have tried on more dresses before purchasing one? I loved it in the moment but now I’m kind of panicking. Does it make my hips look too big?
Ugh! Anyone else freak out after they bought their dress? Here’s a picture:

I always chuckle a little when I see ppl post about if their hips look too big bc mine are 44 inches and I love them lol Anywho its a nice dress, don’t love it or hate it but nice, except I think you purchased it more so bc it was a steal vs. actually wanting it. How do you feel in the dress?

Wow I love it! It looks great on you. A great deal too. The best way to avoid dress regret is to stop looking for dresses after you’ve bought one haha.

You have a gorgeous figure, your hips are NOT big at all. I think it’s totally normal to feel that way about such a big purchase, but you truly look beautiful, and that dress is so lovely. I love how angelic the skirt looks. I think perhaps some shapewear might help the bodice appear more smooth, and you might feel better in it then..have you tried that?

I think you made a great choice, and your hips are well balanced.

I I loved it in the moment when I bought it – I remember when I put it on I said “this is it! This is my dress!” But now that I’m home and thinking about it I guess I’m just second guessing myself.
I also think I might be a little sad I didn’t get to try on more dresses before I bought one 🤔😄

I think when you know, you know! I said yes to the dress and the wedding is 15 months out lol. But I LOVE my dress and can’t wait to see her again! Your dress is gorgeous!

I think you look great in your dress. Try it on again and see if you still love it. I had the same problem, I bought my dress 2years before my ceremony (long story). I kept having doubts about my dress because it has been so long since I bought them, but when I try it on it still makes me smile. 🙂

I think it looks perfect on you and everything looks well-proportioned! I think if you try on a few more dresses, you’ll know for sure whether the dress you bought is the one for you.

I bought my dress and am freaking out a little now too, I think it’s natural! But it looks lovely. Also I tried on a bunch of dresses but went back to my very first one so that’s ok too 🙂

I love that dress and your hips do NOT look too big, promise! Did you buyv the veil too? I might actually opt for a plain veil cuz your dress has so much detail that veil is a little distracting.

Loads of “wow ” factor there! You gotl ucky and got it right first time. To avoid dress regret, stop looking at other dressses now.
