Not hideous in the model pic you linked too.  But looks cheap in the IRL pics other have posted. I would decline being a Bridesmaid or Best Man if the dress came from DB. Their clothes are awful.

@CurlyCue:  Whoa! I hope you’re kidding. I can’t believe you’d really decline being a bridesmaid in your best friend’s wedding if she chose a dress from DB. Harsh. And not helpful.

@CurlyCue:  Wow! Harsh words. If you’d decline over something like that, I’d be happy to let you bow out of my wedding party.

OP: The dress is really cute! I’d love to know what colour you chose. They are farrr from ugly.

@Jess1483:  I am not into wasting my money or wearing something that would make me feel self concious because I really hate how it looks and feels. I have yet to see a DB dress or gown that looks goods IRL, to me they look like ill fitting, low budget costumes.

“Fsck you, good friend of mine. You picked a universal store we can all get dresses at. Bitch. I’m out of this wedding.”

@PermaStudent:  of course,  and that’s why I wouldn’t argue with a bride…just simply decline.

I really like it! Sweetheart neckline, flattering color. Believe me when I say that I’ve had to buy hideous Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses in the past so I’d be happy to wear that in someone’s wedding!

Not hideous, for sure. I don’t really like the cascading portion in front but it’s not too bad. Dont stress too much; it looks fine

I’m a bridesmaid in July and we are wearing that dress in the color Malibu.  I like it and it’s flattering on all of us, nice and light, and not too short.

Well, I hope it’s not hideous because it’s what my maids wore. My Maid/Matron of Honor picked it out and had bridesmaids of all different shapes and sizes and everyone was happy with it.

I really like the dress!  Depending on the colour that would be a dress I would rewear too (but that could be just because that is the type of style I like). Which lots of brides say will happen but I have only seen it happen once.

Its not hideous, but its not that nice. I would wear it if I were asked to, but I wouldn’t choose it on my own.

@ktmcgwvu08:  I think its really pretty!  I would not change the dress if some of your bridesmaids have already purchased and can’t return.  If you don’t love the dress, how about picking an interesting statement necklace for them?  The dress is somewhat simple, you can still spice things up!

@CurlyCue:   Really? Saying DB dresses or gowns look like “ill fitting, low budget costumes” is incredibly harsh, and offensive to everyone out there who has worn a DB gown. And calling out other posters in this thread and saying that their bridesmaid dresses look cheap in the pictures that they have posted is just straight up rude.

OP (and other posters): They’re cute dresses! Great for a summer wedding.
