So bees, after convincing myself my body doesn’t work right, will never be able to get pregnant, stay pregnant, etc etc I decided to start charting, temping and using OPKs because I figured it might help me stop worrying or feel a bit more ‘in control’ until we start TTC in September.
I’ve been a nervous wreck to be honest, BUT I have been religious about temping, checking the same time when I wake and before I do anything else, and I used OPKs for about 6 days because I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Well, my OPKs were positive for 3 days, and my temp rose this morning.
So, here’s my chart:
How does it look? And, did I ovulate from what you can see? Thanks for reading by the way – I am totally obsessed with the ttc boards, and you ladies are full of THE best advice, and you don’t make me feel like I’m going crazy while waiting to ttc!

Yes, it looks like you have. I’m going to think O was at CD17 though. Best wishes for a speedy BFP when you start TTC. 🙂

I’m in exactly the same boat except we’re not TTC until Dec. I too am convinced I can’t have kids, or carry to full term yada yada… I’ve just started charting at the beginning of the month and this morning mine said O was on Tuesday as well…. which was actually a bit of a relief! I was thinking I’d never get that red line thingy!
I’m still learning about how to read the charts etc.
Good luck when Sept comes round!

@Lillyrose: Yes, it does look like you O’d….

@Yellow.Clover: Yay, thank you so much!
@bearsreddy: I’m the same too. Isn’t it crazy how we all think we’re going to be infertile when we haven’t even started trying yet?! I find myself caught up in daytime daydreams (nightmares!) about what I’ll do if I can’t get pregnant. I am NUTS!
Honestly I’ve spent so long convincing myself there’s something wrong with me, I can’t actually believe my cycle has been somewhat normal, and makes sense..

looks like you O’d!! i agree with yellow clover that you might’ve O’d on CD17. FF might move your CH later.

If I did O at CD17, is that OK? I mean, is that normal, for a 30 day cycle and isn’t considered late?
When will FF move my O day? And do you think I O’d at CD17 due to the temperature rise this morning?

@Lillyrose: it’s totally fine to O on CD17. i’ve O’d on CD19 twice and my cycles for those were about 33 days long. your cycle might be a little longer this month but even if it’s 30 days, that’s a good LP length. i’m basing my guess on your 3rd +OPK and the temp dip yesterday with a spike today. yesterday might’ve been your pre-O dip. we could very well be wrong but it doesn’t really matter since it’s only a difference of 2 days. if FF thinks you O’d on CD17 instead, it probably won’t move your CH for a few more days.

@Lillyrose: Your charts looks good better than mine. I haven’t confirmed ovulation yet, and I had my last period almost two months ago. That is what I call not normal. Yours looks pretty good. If you think you might have issues ask your doctor to run some tests for you. I don’t see why should not get pregnant. Good luck!
