Sometimes 🙂  I have a marquise (always like the way it looked on my finger) but once in a while I switch out to my smaller round promise ring and I fleetingly wish I had a larger round 🙂  I have short stubby fingers so I fel the marquise is more flattering, but I miss the light  play that a well cut round gives off.

I’ve only ever wanted a princess cut. Round isn’t my style. As long as you love it that’s all that matters. Different strokes for different folks

sharpshooter :  exactly same here, had a .71 round first time and wanted something different and fell in love with cushion cut. Got a 9mm/3.5ct moissanite and absolutely love it!

My original is a round cut. We’ve been together ten years so we decided to upgrade my ring (better quality diamond). I  was torn between an oval and a cushion, and in the end I chose an oval. I love fancy cuts! I’m so glad I chose one over another round (although rounds are gorgeous too).

to be upfront, i am very newly engaged.  that being said, i don’t think my opinion will change drastically.  i have an oval (and for people naysaying ovals bc they’re are “trendy” – mine is actually an heirloom…) which i reset with pear sapphire sidestones.  i love it! it’s different but not wildly so.  it feels like me.
