Good question!! I watched, but didn’t change my vote, nor did I think it would. It was very interesting though.

Nah, I still don’t agree with anything Romney says, even if he managed to say it more forcefully than Obama said his platform.

I watched, and I highly doubt it’ll influence my choice.

A debate means nothing to me.

Funny you posted this – FI & I had a conversation last night about how very few, if any people are influenced by the debates.  I’m curious to hear from the people that voted that the debates DO influence them.

I didn’t watch, but I might have if I had cable.  Since we just moved last weekend there is no internet yet either.  But it wouldn’t change who I’m voting for.

I watched, but since my preferred candidate wasn’t debating, it had no effect on my voting choices.

It did not effect my vote.  The only way it would have changed my vote is if Obama suddenly said “Hey, half of America?  FUCK YOU.”

    Like Romney did.

I watched it from a special debate watch event.  We had equal parts from both parties and undecideds and the debate did make a difference with the undecideds that were there.  I usually don’t think debates make a big difference but I was totally suprised that so many people got actively engaged in it.  I had to interview the participants, the one comment that was repeated over and over was that Romney was in control and was a clear leader.  Some of those comments came from typically left leaning voters.  The other comments that suprised me were from the conservatives.  Almost every one of them was iffy at best on Romney, but last night energized them, they are now solid in the Romney camp.  I have worked in politics for 25 years and I have never seen responses like I saw over this debate.

I can’t wait for the Ryan/Biden debate next week.

@tksjewelry:  That’s really interesting!  Are you doing a similar event for the Vice-Presidential debate?

@Mrs. Spring:  yup, and I am really looking forward to it.  It was my first outing being invited as a “member of the press” it was nerve racking.  Fingers crossed that my video comments will come out.
