Not that I know of. My mother is a real estate attorney and she hasn’t been informed or heard of any tax extension.

They did not extend the tax credit.  Though there is an automatic extension built in for members of the military who are deployed of one year though.

Someone told me they extended it too… but I can’t find any info about it. I’ve already closed, but I have friends looking to buy & I told them I heard it was extended.

EDIT: The IRS website says to get the credit, it had to have gone into contract by April 30 & close by June 30, 2010.

Not extended by the feds, but I know California has put its own tax credit in (for $10K, same basic rules with a few variations) that kicked in when the federal credit expired, so maybe some other states have done the same?

I heard that if you buy a house from Coldwell Banker that you get the $8000 tax credit, I heard this on the tv a few days ago.

@Lees: I thought you already bought a house.  You didn’t get the credit then?
