Hey ladies! Help me out with my e-ring situation
I got my ering back in July and at the begining of this month I started noticing dry skin that is sort of looks like a rash. It is only where the ring hits/sits and it is on the top and right of my ring finger and the left of my middle finger. (Note: It isn’t all over my fingers. Just where the ring is)
I am hoping it is becuase there has never been anything on my finger before that is making it irrated until it gets used to it. Did this happen to you at first? I hope I am not alergic to white gold!!

This isn’t the answer you’re wanting to hear, but to me it sounds like an allergy to the metal.

@abbyful: Grrr I really hope that isn’t the case. 🙁 I have never been alergic to anything in my life! That would be the sort of bad luck I would have xD

What material is the ring?

I had the same thing when I first started wearing my rings. It was from water getting trapped under my ring and causing bacteria to grow. Now I make sure to take my ring off and dry under my finger every time I wash my hands.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Ewww!! Oh my, I haven’t heard of that!! My ring was .5 a size too big, so once I get it back sized I’ll have to keep this in mind.

Like MissAsB said, make sure you dry thoroughly after washing your hands.
Another trick, but I totally understand if you don’t want to do this, try placing a coat of clear nail polish on the inside of the ring. I have to do that with some of my costume jewelry and it really helps!
