I did! Me and my mom were headed to David’s bridal when I told her about a preowned/consignment bridal store I really wanted to stop by, just to look, not really thinking I would find anything and I fell in love with the first dress I tried on! It was perfect and everything I’ve ever wanted, A beautiful beaded bodice, mermaid style and in my size! And the best part? It was $228!!!! The woman that owned the store was so sweet and amazing it was just a wonderful experience.
which, by the way, after buying the dress we still stopped by David’s bridal and it was the worst experience EVER! Those people sure know how to pressure you and make you feel super uncomfortable, but that’s another story.
So back to topic, did you buy the first dress you ever tried on?? Or did you try on a million Just to find the perfect one?

Nope, I bought the last dress I tried on. It took about 25-30 dresses to find my dress.

@Eckle: wow! I think I would be so done trying on dresses by the time I reached 20! Lol

@Eckle: that is soo crazy! I was tired of white dresses by the time I tried on four lol 🙂

@MissSweetiepie: Talk about amazing timing, luck and a wonderful deal. Congrats to you!
I spent literally five months trying on well over a hundred dresses to find the right one. Even when I did I suffered with dress regret for the longest time. It wasn’t until my big day putting on the dress and accessories with the hair and makeup that I knew I had made the right decision.

@MissSweetiepie: I saw a dress online in London and thought ‘oh well’. Well we had a trip planned for London a while later and I was still drooling over my 50’s, tea length dress. I decided to get it out of my system and dragged my Fi on for good measure. Well that was it for me!! It took three more trips to London (fitting and collection) to get my dress but it was sworth it! Plus, I got a couple of holidays out of it!!

I bought the first dress I tried on. It was the one I went there to try. Although the consultant convinced me to try on a few others I went back to my dream dress.

Yes! I did! I had fallen in love with it online before I tried it on. It was the first dress I tried on but I did try on others; none of them gave me that warm and fuzzy feeling like THE ONE. I bought it about a month after I tried it.

Nope! The first dress I tried on was awful. I bought the second one.

I bought the first dress I tried on, and knew pretty much instantly that it was for me. I tried on about 3 dresses after it, just to be 100% sure, and I couldn’t wait to get back in my first dress! It was very out of character for me to choose the first dress because I’m extremely indecisive (especially when it comes to clothing). I never had an ounce of dress regret 🙂

I saw the dress online. I found out where I could purchase it. I went there and tried it on. I bought it.
I did not try on any other gown.

@MissSweetiepie: Your poll should have a “yes, but…” option 🙂 I did buy the first dress I tried on. But maybe I bought too soon… six months later, I’m getting the urge to look again and become a two-dress bride. I never thought it would happen to me!

@MissSweetiepie: no, I bought the second – but the first dress was kind of a joke.

I bought the second dress I tried on, but I tried on I think about 8 dresses. I had a really hard time deciding between the first and second dress … until I realized that much of my attachment to the first one was that it was the first time I felt like I was really going to be a bride. The second one was a clear winner!
