Lol I don’t remember the first dress I tried on at all, I was very rushed at that place and was just trying on a bunch of different silhouettes to see what my favorite was. I tried on around 25 dresses, and then I was like screw this, I’ve figured out exactly what I want, I’m going custom!

I went to to Nicole Miller with the intention of trying on and buying one dress, but someone was trying on the sample when I got there so I tried on two other dresses while I waited. I did purchase the dress I originally came for.

I bought a dress from the first trip. I think it was the 3rd out of 4 dresses I tried on. =) I should have just tried that one on fiirst LOL.

For a previous engagement I bought the first dress I tried on at a thrift store it’s so beautiful I kept it and now my sister has it. =)

Yes!  I bought the very first dress I tried on.  No other dress looked as good as the first, and the friend I shopped with raved about it.  I’ve had no dress regret 🙂

    This is the dress:

@MissSweetiepie:  I didn’t try on the 25-30 dresses all in one shopping trip. I did it over a period of 2 months with 4 separate trips. By the time I was done most dresses just looked like another white dress, especially when I was looking at them online.

This is the first dress I tried on. It was this horrible cottony fabric that showed all the dirt.

This is my dress, the last dress I tried on. I think it is worlds away better.

I went to a bridal store off the cuff, very spontaneously with my mom a few days after I got engaged. I had a 4 month engagement so I really didn’t have time to waste. I did try on one that I really liked on my body, but the fabric and the fact that I didn’t like the sash nor did I want one sort of complicated matters. It was a more inexpensive dress and if I had taken the sash off there would have been a seam that I didn’t want. In the end I ordered a dress with a bunch of custom changes from Casablanca and didn’t even try the dress on until the day it came into the shop! I had some dress regret, but it wasn’t because I bought the first dress. It was because I didn’t stick to my original plan of getting a tulle dress.
