I bought mine for $15 at value village.  I love throwing tea parties so I know I’ll use it over and over again.  It’s 1″ in diameter.  I LOVE it.  My wedding is vintage theme.

I did a trial for DIY bouquet and used the cake stand for a “photo shoot” lol.

not yet. but i plan on it. i will order it from etsy! There are a lot of options on there! Check it out.  I honestly want something super simple since the cake table has a lot going on.

This is the cake table.

I used the venue’s stands, but I reccomend Home Goods! They almost always have cake stands when I go there.

Our bakery has stands we can use, and that’s what we plan to do.  However, you might check with your rentals company if you’re renting tables or any decor.  The place we’re renting linens/tables/etc from had some really cute stands available that weren’t too much to rent for the day.  If we couldn’t use the bakery’s, I’d rent one of those.

I want a small cake with a bunch of cupcakes on the bottom teirs of the stand but the bakery I’m getting my cake from said I would have to buy the stand myself, so yes I will be buying a stand. I just don’t know where I would be able to get one, I’m planning on having something like this but with a different topper and blue flowers instead of pink.

klbrend:  If I find something online I can let you know but no luck so far. I think the problem is I really do want this exact one or something almost exactly the same which I probably wont find.

SithLady:  That’s a really pretty stand. Can anyone give me a link to buy it or a similar one online?

My husband made ours! It was cheap and easy and he enjoyed doing the project. That way we got exactly what we wanted!

I bought misatched cake stands from Save and Crafts and Amazon.  Since we did a multiple cake display, I just looked for stands that were the next size up in diameter than the cake and I think it came together really well.
