    I didn’t vote in the poll. I was pretty healthy pre-pregnancy. Lots of veggies and protein, minimal carbs and very little sweets. 

    With the first trimester, a lot of it went out the window. I had a ton of nausea and carbs were my best friend. Lots of bland stuff too. French fries were my favorite! I loved Chick fil A. Minimal red meat. It just didn’t sound good to me. Oh and I used to love salmon. It was my first major food aversion. Still can’t do fish. I also started wanting dessert way more often, and before I really wasn’t a dessert person.

    As I’m entering the 2nd trimester my normal eating has returned. More and more veggies and fruits. I finally was able to stomach some spaghetti and meatballs and tacos over the past week.

    I didn’t consciously change my diet very much.  During first trimester, red meat was my big aversion.  Luckily, I’ve been able to eat red meat since 2nd trimester, but I still have a huge fish aversion.  

    CocoLoco523:  You and I have a lot of similarities!  Salmon is the worst thing ever while i’ve been pregnant, and I don’t eat a whole lot of fish.  I also find that all I ever want is dessert (chocolate cake anyone?), and all I used to ever munch on was salty snacks!

    gingerkitten:  I am only in my first trimester still, but I don’t *plan* on changing anything.  DH and I eat mostly clean, whole foods, organic, etc, with minimal processed foods.  That being said, I am having a hard time right now, with both nausea and food aversions.  So, it’s really been just eating what I can.  We’ve had take out a little more often, and I haven’t eaten a vegetable in almost two weeks (it makes me want to vomit).  I’m bummed, because we have always been such healthy eaters, and I’m feeling like a horrible mom.  🙁  But, I know it’ll pass eventually
