That’s basically what I did too…I think everybody wins in that situation 🙂

I chose a color and fabric (J. Crew clover green and silk chiffon) and let them choose the style.  Each ended up with a different style.

I let my Maid/Matron of Honor pick her dress, as long as it was one of the 4 wedding colors. She and I went shopping together, she fell in love, and I bought it for her on the spot. We had so much fun shopping together, and I love that she loves her dress.

I picked a few different styles for each girl from Modcloth.com and then let them pick the one that they liked best 🙂

I picked the dress out, the BM’s had a say if they liked or not and we wittled it down from there. But I had final say on the dress.

We are all going shopping together on Saturday the 17th as my middle daughter will be down from TN and this will be the last time we are all together until my wedding in March. I have the colors picked, and they can pick the style in those colors. My Maid/Matron of Honor will be wearing chocolate brown with green sash, the girls will wear same green with chocolate brown sash.

I picked (after asking if they liked it). I think my BMs preferred it that way, less pressure for them.

I chose the Maid/Matron of Honor dress and the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. It was just easier that way. I let them choose their own shoes but told them the colo and sometimes wish I had just told them a specific shoe because it was so hard, even after sending pictures and color swatches I was getting constant emails and texts and question asking me if I liked their choice and it was no where even close to the color I had asked them to get

We went and tried on a bunch, narrowed it down to a few we liked, and then they voted on which one they wanted.

I chose the color and fabric and told them they could choose whichever dresses they wanted…  I was shocked when they all chose the same dress.  I found out later that 2 of them liked the same one and decided they should all match, so they bullied the other 2 into picking it, too.  I don’t even really like the dress to be honest (at least not on all 4 of them), but I felt like I technically left it up to them, so I couldn’t say anything.

I picked a color and two choices of lines.  A Bridesmaid or Best Man picked the dress.  I agreed.  The other Bridesmaid or Best Man chose to go with the same dress.

I didn’t have a Maid/Matron of Honor, instead 4 BM’s. I chose the style & color and they all liked the dresses. I did go shopping with a couple of them at the beginning, but when I found “the one” I was with my Mom & I just picked it. It worked out.
