We went to Las Vegas and stayed at the Cosmopolitan! Been wanting to stay at that hotel forever, so it was nice to splurge for a super nice room!

bee123456789 :  I don’t think it counts as a trip as it was local but OH surprised me with a night away in an amazing hotel in London. We went for dinner and drinks and watched the sun rise on our balcony over the river Thames.

Managed to score an amazing upgrade so ended up in a £600 a night room lol

Darling Husband and I are big travelers, so we went to Italy for 9 days. We explored Rome, Florence, and the beautiful island of Sardegna. It was amazing!

We got married on a sailboat in St. Augustine. So for our first anniversary, we spent the weekend in St. Augustine…we even went on a sunset sail on the same sailboat we got married on. We did all the touristy things in St. Augustine that we didn’t have time for when we got married. It was a lovely weekend.

We got engaged in London last month — so for our first wedding anniversary I would love to go back and stay at the beautiful Hotel 41 again and re-live that fantastic week.

We went to Niagara Falls. Stayed in a really nice hotel, went to the spa and had a fancy dinner over at the weekend. And we’ve been doing it for every anniversary since. Mind you we’ve only been married a few years… Lol.

bee123456789 :  St. Augustine is a beautiful little city. It can be touristy and crowded, but the historic downtown is lovely. I’m a Florida native, from the Gulf of Mexico side, so I prefer the beaches on the gulf. The beaches on the Atlantic are not as pretty (to me), so I haven’t really checked out the beaches in SA. I think if you’ve been to Destin, you’d probably find those beaches better. St. Augustine, though, has tons of B&Bs and restaurants. There’s a night life there and shopping. I enjoy it! (I now live in landlocked Tallahassee, so it’s always a treat to be on a coast whether east or west).
